We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Home Healthcare Caregiver or more preferably a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to individuals in need.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals and monitor clients' health status, reporting any changes or concerns promptly.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as tidying up living spaces, doing laundry, and maintaining a clean and organized environment for clients.
  • Assist clients with transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed.
  • Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental stimulation and overall well-being.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, actively listening to clients' concerns and offering empathy and encouragement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure continuity of care and personalized support for clients.
  • Document care provided, including daily activities, observations, and any changes in clients' condition, maintaining accurate and thorough records.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures to prevent the spread of illnesses and maintain a safe environment for clients and caregivers.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in home healthcare, nursing assistance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role is highly desirable.
  • CPR and first aid certification is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and their families.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others and make a positive impact on their lives.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical ability to assist clients with mobility challenges and perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Compensation: $16.50 per hour
